Workshop Description: This hands-on one-session workshop, led by Bridgette E. Clarkston, biologist and author of field guides to Northeast Pacific seaweeds, introduced participants to the cyanotype process. Using local marine specimens as the main input drawn from the Beaty Biodiversity Museum, the session explored image-making as a site of encounter between scientific observation and photographic practice, inspired by the early cyanotype experiments of Anna Atkins.
